Take care of your employees, and they’ll take care of you.
Workplace health checks will provide you, and your employees, with early warning signs of a range of disease and illness risk factors, and also support their overall health and wellbeing.
We can develop a program of health assessments and advice to suit your needs, all delivered by a team of qualified nurses, and professional health and fitness trainers.
Workplace health checks, why you should bother
Having a healthy workforce means you’ll have less sick days reported, leading to greater productivity and a healthy bottom line. Workplace health checks also send a message to your employees that you’re concerned for their welfare, and you value their efforts.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) identifies eight key risks factors to health, all of which could be addressed in a health check:
- Smoking
- Drinking alcohol
- Obesity
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- High blood glucose
- Poor diet
- Lack of exercise

Let us know how many employees need workplace health checks, and also, what conditions they’re working in. We’ll be able to determine what specific health checks may be more useful than others, and we can build your program accordingly.
Workplace health checks
If you have a suitable space for us to use, great, we’ll arrive with a team of healthcare professionals and work through your employees quickly, and efficiently. If you don’t, however, we can bring our mobile health screening unit, and go through the workplace health checks from there.
We always recommend individual appointments in a private room, as it allows time for a comprehensive range of workplace health checks to be performed, and the chance for an employee to discuss the results in confidence with a trained health professional.
Workplace Health Checks can include:
- Blood Pressure / Pulse
- Height, Weight
- Waist Circumference /BMI
- Flexibility/ Musculoskeletal assessment
- Grip strength
- Cholesterol Screening
- Glucose Screening
- Full bloods and Biochemistry
Reporting & prevention
Afterwards we’ll produce a company overview of results. If there are any potential issues or risk factors identified that may be related to the work environment, we’ll include this in the company results. Your employees will receive a confidential report of their own results too, along with information and recommendations should further medical review or referral be required.
